"Nico made an experience out of our dinner. He suggested the Bistecca La Fiorentina and the truffle pasta which turned out to be the best dishes of our trip. Great ambiance and drinks framed the meal in a great way. Super recommended for a nice meal! Do know that just like any steak place it is going to be a bit pricey but the steak is worth it and they finish it on the table. You won’t get this on the States for this price! Nico suggested adding olive oil and pepper to the steak once it’s in your plate which gave it an amazing flavor, I’m going to try it back home."

"Omg, someone earlier said that if you don’t come here you’re doing yourself a disservice and I totally agree with that statement. Nico was attentive and gave amazing recommendations. The truffle pasta was flavorful but not overwhelming like it is at so many places. The steak was so tender. I have previously sworn off steak in Europe because I feel like it’s never that great. This restaurant has made me change that viewpoint."

"Had dinner here and it was excellent. The food was excellent, one of our best meals in Italy so far. The sea food and soup were A+ Skip the deserts, while good it wasn't an out of this world experience. Our server was excellent and overall we were very pleased even though it's an expensive place, but well worth it."

"Friendly service and welcoming staff in spite of being busy. Grilled smoked beef steak was excellent. Pasta and salad can be better. Seating is outside on sidewalk of a narrow street where passers by are close to our table though separated by glass."

"Just ate dinner from here. Amazing food. We ordered the La Vera Bisticca Allá Florentine and the steak was amazing. It comes rare but is served in a cast iron pan and they come and serve your plate and if you want it cooked more they do it at the table while serving your steak and potatoes. We also ordered the Gnocchi that was not in the main menu but was on the special menu and was crazy good. Lastly we ordered a Triple Chocolate delight that was small but really delicious; but we barely had room after our dinner to eat so it was perfect. Highly recommend; I added pics of the food and forgot to take a pic of the dessert until it was almost done. Don’t understand how they have a 3.9 rating; one of the best places to eat here in Florence. Staff were super friendly and attentive."

"Wonderful experience. Found this place by accident, and it's awesome. We came back next day again. Steak was excellent, the place actually allows you to cook it to your liking on a hot stone that is brought to your table. Pasta with goose prosciutto was phenomenal. And last but not least, our host Nico is absolutely the best."
